Classic Deviled Eggs

A classic party favourite that harnesses the greatness of eggs. Try experimenting with different flavour combos to mix with the yolks, may I suggest cheddar and bacon?

  • 6 chilled hard boiled eggs peeled and cut lenghthwise
  • 1/4 cup mayo
  • 1/2 tsp onion powder
  • 1/2 tsp mustard powder
  • 1/2 tsp paprika
  • pinch of cayenne (adjust to suit your taste)
  • pinch of salt
  • fresh cracked pepper

  1. Remove the yolks and set them in a small bowl.
  2. Mash with a fork and add mayo and seasonings.
  3. Fill the egg whites evenly, you can use a pastry bag with any decorative tip to make these more impressive.
  4. Dust lightly with paprika just before serving.
  5. These tasty little devils can be covered and stored in the refrigerator for up to one day.
